KIEV, July 7 - Huta Stali Czestochowa steel works (Poland) belonging to Industrial Union of Donbas (ISD) via subsidiary ISD Polska on June 1 resumed electric furnace steelmaking after the idle period started on November 2015 due to the stoppage of slab suppliers from Alchevsk Steel Works.

Huta Stali Czestochowa Chairman and former deputy industrial policy minister of Ukraine Anatoliy Fediayev told Interfax-Ukraine that electric furnace steelmaking was mothballed from October 25, 2015 due to loss-making and slabs made by Alchevsk Steel Works were used.
