WASHINGTON, Mar. 9 - The International Monetary Fund may lower its economic growth forecast for Ukraine this year following a major increase in natural gas prices in January, Ukrainian officials said Thursday.

Economy Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk and senior officials at the National Bank of Ukraine have been meeting IMF European department head Michael Deppler in Washington to discuss the impact of high gas prices, officials said.
