KIEV, July 1 - Over a quarter of the population of large cities in Ukraine are in favor of local elections being held in the breakaway parts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions in accordance with the Ukrainian laws, according to the findings of a social survey, conducted by SocioStream AG on June 9-27, which were unveiled at an Interfax press conference in Kiev on Friday.
Fifty-seven per cent of respondents are against such elections, 28% said the elections should be held, and 15% could not answer whether or not elections should be held in Donbas.
