KIEV, July 1 – Kiev Mayor Vitali Klitschko calls on the Cabinet of Ministers to ensure urgent unlocking of Kyivenergo accounts aimed at accidental situations at heat supply systems and electricity supply networks.

"Blocking Kyivenergo in the capital threatens termination of repair work at the heating and electric systems that could lead to accidents. We cannot allow urban residents to suffer because of the relationship of the national joint-stock company Naftogaz Ukrayiny and the heating company. The government should urgently resolve the issue and ensure unblocking of the accounts of heat supply companies," said Klitschko.
