KIEV, June 21 – The National Bank of Ukraine has placed Eurobank (Kiev) on its list of insolvent banks.

The regulator said last week that this is outlined in NBU Board's decision No. 73 of June 17.

But Bolat Nazarbayev, who on May 18 was permitted to buy 50% of the bank, has not become a shareholder.

The curator at Eurobank revealed transactions aimed at splitting deposits to accounts having under UAH 200,000 at the bank.
