KIEV, March 7 ??“ The Ukrainian government is to announce within two weeks a new tender for licenses to extract oil and gas from the Black Sea off-shore areas, Prime Minister Yuriy Yekhanurov has said.

The government is currently accepting bids from oil companies aimed at exploring and extracting oil and gas offshore the Black Sea near Kerch. The auction for the licenses is supposed to take place March 25.
