KIEV, June 14 – Assets of Ukrainian financial companies increased by 15.7% or UAH 10.492 billion year-over-year in Q1, reaching UAH 77.492 billion, the national commission for financial service markets regulation reported.

The regulator said that the number of financial companies in the public register of financial companies grew by 33.6% or 153 by the end of the quarter, to 609.

Net worth of financial companies in Q1 rose by 51.6%, to UAH 22.029 billion.
