KIEV, June 2 – Ukraine reduced ferroalloy output 1.8% year-on-year in January-April to 318,900 tons, the Ukrainian Ferroalloy Producers' Association reported.

Nikopol Ferroalloy Works (NFW), the biggest of Ukraine's three ferroalloy smelters, raised silicon manganese production 2.7% year-on-year in the four months to 221,800 tons but and ferromanganese output 36.1% to 11,300 tons. Overall ferroalloy output at Nikopol grew 4% year-on-year to 233,100 tons.
