LONDON, May 12 - Ukraine still plans to issue new eurobonds under United States guarantees, however the exact date of issue is unknown, Finance Minister Oleksandr Danyliuk said on the sidelines of an annual meeting of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

"First of all, we need guarantees. We have this planned," he said.

In April Danyliuk said Ukraine plans to return to external debt markets in 2018 due to the implementation of a cooperation program with the International Monetary Fund and reforms.
