KIEV, May 10 – Inflation in Ukraine in April from March accelerated to 3.5% from 1% March to February and 0.4% in February from January, the State Statistics Service reported.

"The weighty factor that pushed the April inflation up was a seasonal change in prices of natural gas by 48.8%. This boosted housing and utilities, power rates, prices of gas and other types of fuel by 20.1% in general," the service said.
