KIEV, May 6 - The National Commission for Energy, Housing and Utilities Services Regulation has raised tariffs for thermal energy and central heating services by 75-90% starting July 1.
NCER Dmytro Vovk said the commission made the decision at a meeting on May 5.
"The percentage (increase) depends on the heating enterprise. The lion's share of adjustment is related to the government's decision on the price of natural gas, the rest on the revision of wages in accordance with the new level of minimum wage and social security tax, changes in retail electricity tariffs and others," he said.
