KIEV, May 6 – The quotas on milk and meat introduced by Moldova will cost Ukrainian farmers $1.5 million, or about 11.3% of revenues from exports of these products to the country, the Ukrainian Agrarian Confederation estimates.
According to a report on the website of the UAC, most noticeable losses will be for producers of butter, cheese and ice cream - $1.2 million. This is due both to a small quota (750 tons) and high customs duties.
