KIEV, May 3 – Russian natural gas was 15.4% more expensive in April compared with European gas, which remains the only source of Ukraine’s gas imports, a senior official at Naftogaz Ukrayiny said Tuesday.

Ukraine bought European natural gas at $175/1,000 cubic meters in April, while Russia’s Gazprom offered its gas at $202/1,000 cu m in the second quarter.
