KIEV, March 1 - Banca Intesa SpA, the second biggest Italian bank in terms of assets, bought a managing company that owns a controlling stake in Kiev-based Ukrsotsbank, according to Borys Timonkin, the board chairman of Ukrsotsbank.
"The subject of the deal was a commercial entity owning a controlling stake in Ukrsotsbank. So, the buyer will own an 85.4% stake of the bank," Timonkin said in an interview with weekly Dzerkalo Tyzhdnia.
