KIEV, April 18 - Less than half of Ukrainians - 45% - support the idea of Ukraine's joining NATO, according to a public opinion poll.

Asked how they would vote if a referendum on Ukraine's accession to NATO were held today, 45% of those polled said they would vote in favor of NATO membership, 30% would vote against it, 16% were undecided, and 10% would not cast their ballots.

Asked whether they believed Ukraine would be granted visa free travel to the European Union in 2016, 20% answered positively, 55% negatively, and 25% were undecided.
