KIEV, April 11 – The volume of individual bank deposits in the national currency grew by 1.5% in March, to UAH 182.828 billion, while deposits in foreign currency expanded by 0.1%, to $8.652 billion (in the dollar equivalent), the National Bank of Ukraine said.
The data does not include information from entities designated as insolvent banks.
At the same time, individuals' deposits in the hryvnia have shrunk by 1.5% since the year's start amid a 0.5% increase in personal deposits in the U.S. dollar.
