MOSCOW, April 5 - The situation with VEB's subsidiary in Ukraine, Prominvestbank, has normalized and regulators may soon drop it from the list of troubled banks, Vnesheconombank chief Sergei Gorkov told journalists.
Even so, VEB still plans to leave the Ukrainian market, he said.
"I was in Kiev on Friday. I met with the chairman of the National Bank of Ukraine. Overall she and I acknowledged that the situation with Prominvestbank has normalized. It came about due to a combination of circumstances, rather than the reality," Gorkov said.
