KIEV, April 6 - The Ukrainian government may ban imports of all Russian oil products at a scheduled meeting on Friday, Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk said Wednesday.
The plan comes after the government has earlier decided to introduce economic sanctions against Russia for its alleged involvement in aggressive military attacks in eastern parts of Ukraine.
“We introduced a number of sanctions against the Russian Federation, but one of the key elements - oil products purchases from Russia - has not been included in the sanction list,” Yatseniuk said.
