KIEV, April 4 - President Petro Poroshenko at the Nuclear Security Summit in Washington urged the nuclear states to provide efficient guarantees for the countries that do not have a nuclear arsenal.
At the plenary session of the summit chaired by United States President Barack Obama Poroshenko noted that international cooperation remained a key factor of success of all common efforts. Petro Poroshenko praised the progress achieved since the first nuclear security summit in 2010.
"We must decide how to improve the security guarantees of the permanent members of the UN Security Council for those countries who do not have a nuclear arsenal," the president stressed.
