WASHINGTON, March 31 – President Petro Poroshenko does not support the idea of severing diplomatic relations with Russia and believes that Kiev should focus on the implementation of the Minsk agreements instead.

"The parliament will not support this bill, let's not even discuss this," he said when speaking with the Ukrainian community in Washington, DC, on Thursday, responding to a question about whether he will sign the bill on the termination of diplomatic relations with Russia if the Rada passes it.
