KIEV, March 25 – The Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council decided at a meeting on Friday to impose personal sanctions on individuals involved in unlawful actions against Ukrainian serviceperson and parliamentarian Nadia Savchenko, moviemaker Oleh Sentsov, and other Ukrainians held in detention in Russia.

"The list includes individuals responsible for abductions, illegal detentions, torture, falsification of the cases, the organization and pronouncement of legally void sentences made to order by Russian courts. Among the individuals put on the sanction list are chiefs and other officials from the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB), Investigative Committee, prosecutors, judges, military servicemen, and others," the National Security and Defense Council said in a statement following the meeting.
