MOSCOW, March 22 – The supervisory council of VTB has approved the capitalization of the Ukrainian subsidiary to the amount of up to UAH 8.9 billion (about $333 million).

VTB's share in the charter capital of PJSC VTB Bank after capitalization will amount to no less than 99.9945%.

The purchase of shares will be carried out at the expense of funds received from the Ukrainian subsidiary as a result of repayment of interbank and subordinated loans previously issued by VTB, as well as interest on these loans in the volume equivalent to UAH 8.9 billion.
