KIEV, March 21 - The U.S. Department of Commerce has lifted sanctions from state company Ukrspecexport imposed in March 2013 in connection with the supply of military equipment to Libya in violation of UN embargo introduced in 2011.
According to a report on U.S. portal The Federal Register, Ukrspecexport has been excluded from the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) sanctions list, to which the Ukrainian special exporter was included on March 28, 2013 in connection with detecting the fact of military equipment supplies to one of the countries sponsoring terrorism.
