KIEV, March 9 – Two metal sector trade groups have urged President Petro Poroshenko no cancel an increase in freight rail transportation tariffs and address the country's scrap metal shortage.

Metallurgprom association of metal companies of Ukraine (Dnipropetrovsk) and the Federation of Metal Workers of Ukraine also urged the Ukrainian president to discuss the situation in the mining and metal sector at a meeting of the National Reforms Council.
