KIEV, March 3 – Exports of goods from Ukraine to Russia fell by 48% year-over-year in January, following restriction of trade between the two countries, to $121 million, while imports from Russia plunged by 60.6%, to $246 million, according to preliminary data presented by the National Bank of Ukraine.
The NBU said that goods turnover between the two countries fell by 57.8%, to $367 million, and the balance improved by 3.1 times, but remained negative - $125 million.
