KIEV, March 1 – Traditional Ukrainian dairy products could be promising for exports to the European Union to satisfy demand of ethnic groups of population, economist of the technical cooperation department of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (UN FAO) Andriy Yarmak said.
"Today I helped to organize a meeting for Ukrainian processing companies with the largest distributor of ethnic food in the EU countries. They showed their interest to the concrete products of concrete companies which received permits [to export to the EU]," he said in Kiev on Tuesday.
He said that the number of clients of ethnic shops is around 10 million people.
