KIEV, Feb. 24 – The Hague Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA) will consider a claim filed by Dnipropetrovsk-based Dniproazot against Russia, the court said.
Case No. 2015-29 is commenced under The Bilateral Treaty, an agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on the Encouragement and Mutual Protection of Investments, dated November 27, 1998. Under the document, each of the sides undertook to neither nationalize nor expropriate investment made by investors from the other country without the payment of fair compensation in due time.
