KIEV, Feb. 24 – The rated capacity of power plants that are part of the Ukrainian power grid fell by 0.5% or 288 MW in 2015 from a year ago, to 55.826 GW, which is linked to the temporary occupation of the Crimean peninsula by Russia.
Not taking into account the Crimean power grid and taking into account the capacity of power plants on the territory that is not under control of the Ukrainian government in Donbas (8.622 GW), the rated capacity of power plants in Ukraine grew by 183.6 MW in 2015.
