KIEV, Feb. 18 - The State Border Committee of Belarus said, citing Ukrainian border guards, that heavy motor trucks with Russian registration plates will not be allowed into the Ukrainian territory starting from 12:00 midnight on February 18, in compliance with an act adopted by Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers.

"We suggest that the Russian motor carriers consider this information when laying their routes," the Belarusian agency said in a statement.

Interfax-Ukraine expects to receive official commentaries from the Ukrainian side.
