KIEV, Feb. 16 – Last month saw a large shortage--105,000 tons, or 40% of demand-- of scrap ferrous metal in Ukraine, Interpipe Pipe and Wheel Company (Dnipropetrovsk) said in a press release, referring to the Metallurgprom association.

Stocks at metal companies' warehouses as of February 1, 2016 reached the equivalent of nine days of consumption with the requirement of 20 days.
