MOSCOW, Jan. 15 – Russia does not see any reason to continue electricity supplies to Ukraine as a contract has not been signed for supplies of electricity from Ukraine to Crimea, Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak told reporters on the sidelines of the Gaidar Forum.
"Today, considering the fact that the contract for Crimea has not been extended, there are consequently no grounds for extending the contract to Ukraine," Novak said when asked about the conditions on which negotiations with Ukraine on this matter might be resumed.
