Kazakh leader says Ukraine trade will continue despite Russian stance
Journal Staff Report

KIEV, Jan. 12 – Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko 's administration reports that the president and his Kazakh counterpart, Nursultan Nazarbayev, spoke on Tuesday and conveyed assurances that trade between their two countries would not be impacted by Russia's trade embargo.

"Kazakh side confirmed its stance on implementation of current bilateral and multilateral agreements with Ukraine so that not to admit any discriminating measures in Ukrainian-Kazakh trade [relations]," reads a report posted on the president's website.
