KIEV, Feb. 15 ??“ The total profit of Ukrainian banks in January was 435.6 mln hryvnias, more than double the 215.1 mln hryvnias seen in the same period last year, according to the National Bank of Ukraine.

The revenues of the banks grew 40.1% on the year to an estimated at 2.670 bln hryvnias in January, the NBU reported. The expenditures of the banks grew by 28.1% to 2.234 bln hryvnias.
