BRUSSELS, Dec. 21 – The last round of three-sided negotiations at the ministerial level between Russia, the EU, and Ukraine for easing Russian concerns in connection with the introduction of the economic part of the Association Agreement with Ukraine and the EU on 1 January have finished without compromise, Economic Development Minister Alexei Ulyukayev said at a briefing in Brussels at the end of the consultations on Monday.
He said that Ukraine and the EU appeared to not be ready to take Russia's concerns into account, therefore, starting January 1 Russia is repealing the free trade zone agreement with Ukraine and introducing an embargo.
