Britain's Ferrexpo Plc denies reports it plans 40% PGOK layoff
Journal Staff Report

KIEV, Dec. 17 – British-based Ferrexpo Plc, which controls Poltava and Yerystove mining and processing plants (PGOK, YeGOK), has said that reports of the company's plan to lay off 40% of employees at PGOK spread by mass media are untrue.

"The information is not truthful and the company won't comment on this," reads an official response of Ferrexpo to the agency.

Earlier, some mass media, with reference to the Kremenchuk Today edition, which, in turn, referred to Kremenchuk blogger and head of the European Choice public organization Kyrylo Zhyvotovsky, reported on the plan of PGOK in Komsomolsk, Poltava region, to dismiss 40% of workers.
