KIEV, Dec. 9 – If Russia sues Ukraine regarding a $3 billion debt, Kiev is ready to litigate, Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk said.
"If Russia goes to court to file a motion against Russia, we are ready to litigate with Russia, we are fully armed," Yatseniuk said at a government meeting on Wednesday evening.
The prime minister pointed out that Ukraine has invited all of Kiev's foreign creditors to restructure its debts. "All sensible international creditors accepted Ukraine's proposal. Our proposal to the others who have not accepted our restructuring plan remains on the table," he said.
