KIEV, Dec. 7 – As of December 3, around 17% of winter crops (1.1 million hectares) did not sprout, with the problem occurring chiefly in Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, Zaporizhia and Kharkiv regions.

The Agricultural Policy and Food Ministry reported that rapeseeds did not sprout on 13% of fields (84,100 ha), and rapeseeds mainly did not sprout in Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Mykolaiv and Poltava region.
