KIEV, Dec. 7 – Ukraine will increase spending on development of armaments and military equipment in 2016, President Petro Poroshenko said.

"In coming days the parliament will consider the draft national budget for 2016. Am I happy with the figures the government has proposed? No. I think we will manage to revise them, Stepan Tymofiyivych [Defense Minister Stepan Poltorak]," he said on December 4, before the awarding ceremony on the occasion of the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
