KIEV, Nov. 20 – Ukraine has never bought the man-portable air-defense systems (MPADS) from China said to be possessed by ISIS terrorists and the Ukrainian Armed Forces do not possess them, said Andriy Lysenko, the Ukrainian presidential administration's spokesman for the country's “Anti-Terrorist Operation."
"Taking into account the fact that Ukraine has temporarily occupied territories and an uncontrolled part of the border with Russia, one can assume that Chinese MPADS could come into the hands of terrorists via these territories," he told Interfax-Ukraine.
