KIEV, Nov. 11 – The U.S. Senate approved on Tuesday the National Defense Authorization Act for the 2016 Fiscal Year which envisages $300 million in military assistance to Ukraine.
"On November 10, 2015, the United States Senate approved the revised budget of the U.S. for 2016 for the needs of the national defense, with 91 senators supporting the bill and three voting against, which allows the Defense Department, in coordination with the secretary of state to provide military assistance to Ukraine in the amount of $300 million in the 2016 financial year," Ukrainian Ambassador to the U.S. Valeriy Chaly wrote on his Facebook page.
