KIEV, Nov. 6 – President Petro Poroshenko has called Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and congratulated him on the victory of his Justice and Development Party at the Turkish parliamentary elections on November 1.

In turn, Erdogan invited the Ukrainian president to visit Turkey in 2016.

The president's press service reported that both leaders discussed how to develop the strategic partnership between Ukraine and Turkey, particularly on implementing the agreements reached during the last session of the High Level Interstate Strategic Council in March 2015 in Kiev.
