KIEV, Nov. 6 – Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko at a meeting with a delegation of the European Parliament that arrived to Kiev to take part in the Second Session of the Parliamentary Committee of the Association between Ukraine and the European Union discussed bilateral relations and the settlement of the situation in Donbas.

"The president particularly noted the importance of international unity regarding further settlement of the situation in Donbas. Taking into account peacekeeping potential and experience of the EU, Ukraine counts on further enhancement of the EU’s role in the stabilization of the situation in Donbas," Poroshenko said at the meeting with members of the European Parliament, the press service of the head of state reported on Thursday.
