KIEV, Nov. 4 – Energoatom and France's AREVA have signed a memorandum on partnership on increasing safety at operating and new nuclear power plants, the prolongation of the term of their exploitation, and efficiency optimization.

"The agreement includes the following areas: servicing and control over reactors, efficiency optimization, electrical systems, pressure reset systems, solutions to manage aging equipment and materials, and other things," the press service said.
