Lukashenko: Belarus should stay out of any Moscow-Kiev confrontation
Journal Staff Report

MINSK, Oct. 30 - There is no way Belarus should get involved in the confrontation between Moscow and Kiev, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said.

"It is vital to us to maintain the balance of relations with Moscow and Kiev developed at the political and diplomatic level. We must not get involved in their confrontation under any scenario," the state-run news agency BelTA quoted Lukashenko as saying at an operative conference of the Belarusian Armed Forces command in Minsk on Friday.
