KIEV, Oct. 27 - Real wages in Ukraine fell by 18.6% year-on-year in September, rising by 1% from August 2015, the State Statistics Service reported.
Real wages in September compared to September 2014 declined in Rivne (24.3%), Ternopil (23.9%), Kharkiv (22.6%), Khmelnytsky (22.5%), Chernivtsi (22.4%), Poltava (22.2%), Volyn (21.9%), Zhytomyr (21.9%), Cherkasy (21.7%), Kiev and Kirovohrad (by 21.5% each), Odessa (21.3%), Lviv and Mykolaiv (20.8% each) and Dnipropetrovsk regions (20.7%).
According to the State Statistics Service, the average wage of regular workers in Ukraine in September 2015 increased by 24.8% year-on-year, while compared to August of the current year wages grew by 3.3%, and amounted to UAH 4,343.
