KIEV, Oct. 16 – The Energy Community has extended the deadline for Ukrainian thermal power plants and combined heat and power supply plants to lower the concentration of pollutants in flue gases by as much as nine to 11 years.

Head of the European integration department at the Energy and Coal Industry Ministry Mykhailo Bno-Airiian wrote on his Facebook page that the decision was taken by the Energy Community's Ministerial Council in Tirana (Albania) on October 16.
