KIEV, Oct. 15 - Monetary base in Ukraine in September decreased by 2.3%, to UAH 321.2 billion, while money supply increased by 1.7%, to UAH 964.7 billion, the National Bank of Ukraine reported.
According to the report, the volume of cash outside banks in September decreased by 1.9%, to UAH 271.1 billion, and since the beginning of the year it fell by 4.2%.
Since early 2015, monetary base fell by 3.6% and money stock grew by 0.8%.
