KIEV, Oct. 16 – Kiev City Administration has proposed that the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine amend its resolutions Nos. 151 and 630 and introduces a procedure for recalculating fees for central heating and hot tap water supply if the quality of the services provided is low.
"The first position that Ukrainian law has now is that hot tap water is to start running in no more than two minutes after it was turned on. If it does not run, there are no restrictions or recalculation schemes. There are many these cases… Our position is that if people do not have to pay for the full cost of hot water, amendments to Ukrainian law should be made," said Petro Panteleyev deputy head of Kiev City Administration.
