KIEV, Oct. 15 – The Joint International Criminal Investigation Team MH17 consisting of prosecutors and police agencies of Ukraine, Belgium, Australia and Malaysia and Eurojust says it will continue its own criminal investigation into the circumstances of the MH17 flight crash on July 17, 2014 after Dutch Safety Board presented its final report about the facts surrounding the disaster.
"The Joint Investigation Team (JIT) is conducting the criminal investigation into the disaster, with the ultimate goal to identify the perpetrators of the attack and to prosecute them," reads the report posted on JIT website.
The JIT said the findings of the criminal investigation point in the same direction as the Dutch Safety Board conclusion regarding the area of the launch site.
