KIEV, Oct. 15 – Transit flights of planes belonging to Russian airlines across Ukraine will be permitted despite the introduction of sanctions against Russian airlines if the planes do not carry weapons or dual-purpose cargo, Infrastructure Minister Andriy Pyvovarsky told reporters after a cabinet meeting on Tuesday.
President Petro Poroshenko signed a decree on September 16 to enact special economic and other restrictive measures (sanctions)', which applies to several Russian airlines, including Russia's flagship carrier Aeroflot.
